WW Collets are machined to close tolerance to hold parts or tools very accurately on center. The adapter presses into the #1 Morse taper of the headstock and the WW collets are drawn into the taper of the adapter by means of a hollow threaded drawbar. The set includes five different size collets, but additional collets are available from 0 .3mm to 8.0mm by 0.1 mm increments. Designed for use with Sherline WW collet adapter or other lathes that accept a WW type collet with a body diameter of .312-.313".
